The ambience is wonderful - the building, decor, furnishings through to the gardens.
The bedroom was a treasure - quality throughout.
The castle tour is a phenomenal opportunity - the icing on the cake so to speak.

We had a really nice stay with very kind and helpful hosts. The breakfast was amazing. Not typical Irish, but the best during our whole journey. Our room had a direct view to the ocean and the cliffs. It was absolutely clean.

A very charming village. The people were very friendly. Great pubs and live music (McGann's & McDermott's were the ones we visited). There is a spectacular view of the Cliffs of Moher from the parking lot of the ferry dock; our landlord recommended we go at sunset, and it was amazing! It happened to be high tide and the roaring waves made the scene even more astounding. Of course, the Cliffs are just down the road, and they are one of the best sights in Ireland.

Great music, fun and food. Excellent quality food in all pubs and hotels.You can walk between pubs but lack of street lights can make this dangerous at night...maybe there could be a store of hivis vests that could be swapped between pubs for those walking.

Doolin is a delightful village. McGann's Pub was great. Delicious food, good music. A quintessential Irish pub. Doolin is convenient for visiting the Cliffs of Mohr and the Burren. I would have gladly stayed a few more days.

Doolin is a cute little town and is a great place to stay for close proximity to the Cliffs of Moher. There isn't much to do in Doolin, so I recommend staying there only to spend the night after visiting the Cliffs that afternoon or before visiting the Cliffs the next morning.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

The room was lovely and the bathroom really clean (great shower and nice toiletries in room). Staff were so friendly and the restaurant/bar had a lovely welcoming and homely feel to it. Location ideal. We had friends staying in several other hotels in Doolin the same weekend and they all commented on how they loved the place we were staying at. Would highly recommend and thanks again.

The property seems new and the room was clean and well designed. It was a comfortable place to stay. It was a room only and did not provide access to other parts of the property, which was fine with us. This is a convenient place to stay if visiting the Cliffs of Moher. House was a lot bigger than we expected and it was spotless. Great to have towels in the house so we didn't have to supply our own and having washing up liquid and extras in the house was a lovely little touch. We had dinner in the bar of the hotel and it was fantastic. We were offered breakfast in the hotel the morning after but we left that but it was lovely to have been offered it.

The staff was very friendly and helped by calling to two local pubs to confirm if they had a fiddler playing in the evening (McDermotts did). The Guesthouse is a cozy 6 room building with views of countryside. The breakfast was very good (staff also very pleasant) and there was an Italian restaurant on premises at the hotel with brick oven pizza. Really comfy beds, friendly staff and a great breakfast. On a sunny day you would easily be able to see the Cliffs of Moher.
