Flynns of Termonfeckin Boutique Hotel, hotel in Termonfeckin

Flynns of Termonfeckin Boutique Hotel is located on the banks of the Ballywater River and is a 10-minute walk from the beach and a 5-minute drive from Drogheda.

The hotel was so cute and well done. The walls are a little thin, but that is typical. We did hear people coming and going but nothing we couldn’t live with. The bar was well done and it seemed like a hangout for some of the locals. The reception went above and beyond to make sure we were able to get to and from the hotel to a local bar in Drogheda. She politely answered all of our American questions such as, “do we tip our bartender” she laughed and told us not to.

Scholars Townhouse Hotel, hotel in Termonfeckin

Originally built in 1867, this charming townhouse has been tastefully renovated in a modern style, while still retaining its historic charm, with stained glass windows and high coved ceilings.

Wonderful staff. Great property - has a lot of tradition, but really current too! You can tell it’s in the ‘heart’ of the City and fully supported by locals, as well. Food was great.

The location was fine and easy to find.

The location was fine and easy to find. The staff need to be more interested in the customers. One was very kind to give my husband ice for an injury he had sustained elsewhere but the breakfast and the service was poor considering it was quiet. The soundproofing between the rooms was poor..say no more!

The hotel was lovely and the pub had a lovely atmosphere.

The hotel was lovely and the pub had a lovely atmosphere. There is no where to walk to have a family meal you would have to drive or take a taxi which was inconvenient but we did get a take away. If we were to stay a second night we would have had to drive to have dinner. Also as it was a weekend you would need to book dinner in the next town as they booked up quickly.

This place is just so lovely, from the moment they welcome you till the time you leave. our room was elegantly furnished, bright and airy with lovely views from the windows. Whatever you do, make sure you have breakfast, each is individually cooked by chef and presented to your table, with copious amounts of fresh coffee or tea as you prefer. There is no doubt we will be returning to this area and when we do, we will be staying at Flynns

The hotel is along a small stream and our room overlooked it. The room is well appointed and very comfortable. There is a very nice pub attached that locals frequent. We really enjoyed our stay and there is a beautiful beach and a fun farm market in walking distance. Easy drive from Dublin Airport and 20 minutes from New Grange- we toured the next morning. Great breakfast included.

Flynns is a very comfortable small hotel. Our accommodation was in a purpose built extension at the the rear where each room had its own door from the gated car park. The facilities in the room were excellent. The jewel in the crown of this hotel are Michael and his colleagues who provided an excellent breakfast and superb friendly service. Thoroughly recommended

It was unfortunate that there was no evening meal available in the hotel but they were more than accommodating to have take away on the premises. Ben who checked us in and was working for the evening was exceptionally helpful and friendly. He was kind and met all of our expectations and more. He is fantastic!!!

The hotel is very nice. The staff was very friendly. They have private gated parking. Very safe. The breakfast was amazing. I am a vegetarian and mentioned that at my booking. They gave me a big fry up with veggie sausages and veggie bacon.

I loved the set up of the rooms in the courtyard area - It felt like an apartment rather than a hotel room. Staff were very helpful - early check in request was facilitated which was a real bonus as we were going to a wedding nearby
