Situated in the heart of Tongariro National Park, Skotel Alpine Resort offers a restaurant, a hot tub and a terrace bar with a fireplace. Most accommodations boast stunning mountain or region views. beautiful views, comfortable bed and beddings were just right, excellent service and beautiful food and they were very flexible allowing us to stay long in the morning while we waited for the rain to stop before leaving the motel to start our hike. the community kitchen was comfortable and it had everything that we need to use. the toilets were so clean and showers just right.

Spacious, clean and has an amazing view of the lake. Initially booked for a night. Had to extend another night to really enjoy the atmosphere. 5 to 10 mins drive to shops, or enjoy a lovely walk by the lake.

Located on the shore, the Lakefront Lodge Taupo offers spectacular lake views and free WiFi access. It has an outdoor swimming pool. Good last minute accommodation for the night. I booked this room for my sister and her daughter.
