Situated along the Breede River, Malagas Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, volleyball court and trampoline. It offers river cruises, and also has a paddleboat and canoes for rent. Very beautiful view of the Breederivier and a place to relax in the silence of nature, my kids enjoyed themselves,the play room, trampoline and play area kept them entertained. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent

Potteberg Guest Farm, a property with barbecue facilities and a terrace, is situated in Malgas, 9 km from Breede River Trading Post, 11 km from Potberg, as well as 10.4 km from Potberg Hiking Trail... The guest house was comfortable and cozy. The electric blanket was an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again. The host made the house charming and had an attention to details.

Everyhing ! My hosts made these three days very special, they turned out as a goldmine of information of the area. The chalet lies with an unforgetable view over the river - but nearly no moaquitoes ! It is very well equipped; even a dishwasher and a washing machine is provided. Electricity runs by solar power, so you do not have to be afraid of load shadding. DeHoop Nature Reserve is realativly close by (I strongly recommend the hikes in the Potberg section !).

Desiree and John are a lovely couple , most friendly and lots of fun especially John's stories. would highly recommend as it is very comfortable , near the local shop and walking distance to the beach, real value for money.
