As we were only the second people to ever use this hotel, we expected it to have minor problems as it had only opened the previous day. There were obvious finishing touches taking place but none intrusive. The staff were fantastic and extremely helpful despite the fact that they appeared to still be getting used to their roles and at times seemed a little nervous at finding their feet. The room was superb and ultra modern. We did have a problem as the heating was hard to set and was blowing cold air on a fairly cold night. They managed to stop that but we didn't get any heat in the room. Would suggest the controls need to be more user friendly. The TV was superb with a few English channels to watch. Secure parking was brilliant and the location so close to the centre was fantastic. Breakfast was really good but as we were only the second guests, there were items missing that will be there for future guests

We arrived by train and needed one night before our apartment was ready. The location for arrival by train is very convenient. The comfort double room suited us perfectly. The staff was friendly and helpful and allowed us to leave luggage until check in time. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only negative was the room was small. If I needed to stay longer I would book one of the superior rooms with more space.

We always love this property. It's location is superb with usually safe parking, although at a premium cost. Honfleur is a pretty and extremely lively town well within range of two ferry ports. The apartment has always been found to be clean and the staff at the Western Hotel who run the place, friendly and helpful.

Just a couple of problems this time. There was a lack of cutlery in the drawer and the door on the secure parking. for which we paid a top rate, did not close as it was broken. The staff tried to get it to work but failed. Apart rom that, we had our usual brilliant stay.

We loved the stay. The house is definitely not in the prettiest area but the train connection to Paris is amazing and the rooms were beautifully comfortable. Very calm and quiet and perfect for a nice visit. The hosts were very kind and provided detailed support for every need.

The kitchen was rather small, with the ceiling being very close to the floor, so you had to duck down when cooking but it was really not much of an issue.

Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, which truly enhanced my stay at the hotel. The complimentary tea and coffee were a welcoming gesture that added to the overall pleasant experience.

Authentic old Bretton hotel with some lovely features. Comfortable bedding and linen. Lovely, helpful staff.

Breakfast quite expensive with little choice. Mainly bread based but good bread. Sugary cereals. Would have liked a sugar free alternative, such as muesli or porridge. Eggs would have been nice! Lovely homemade jams.

The room was below average, not as good as Best Western. There was only 1 coffee sachet per person per night. No choice of tea and coffee. The shower was badly set so that the water wet the floor.
