Beautiful building, gorgeous property, large room that was very comfortable. I was extremely pleased with my decision to stay at Aran View Country House, and was especially pleased considering that I booked the room just the night before.

They provide kettle, bottled water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and biscuits for breakfast. The bed is fantastic, comfortable, toilet is clean. The owner is friendly, even sending me a text message about the location, where to have a breakfast and some info needed. Location is beautiful, perfect to be away from the city and experience the nature for a short stay. If you will be coming from Galway City, it will take about 1hr by car, but you will enjoy the nature on your journey. I suggest to travel on a daylight as some roads are narrow and if it's your first time, you would think it's taking too long to arrive but once you are there, it's worth it.
Offering a sun terrace and views of the garden, the family-run Knockaguilla Country House is set 3.7 km from Doolin, 2.3 km from Doolin Cave.

A very charming village. The people were very friendly. Great pubs and live music (McGann's & McDermott's were the ones we visited). There is a spectacular view of the Cliffs of Moher from the parking lot of the ferry dock; our landlord recommended we go at sunset, and it was amazing! It happened to be high tide and the roaring waves made the scene even more astounding. Of course, the Cliffs are just down the road, and they are one of the best sights in Ireland.

Great music, fun and food.
Great music, fun and food. Excellent quality food in all pubs and hotels. You can walk between pubs but lack of street lights can make this dangerous at night...maybe there could be a store of hivis vests that could be swapped between pubs for those walking.

Got a true feel for this countryside / seaside community. Loved the pubs. Took the scenic cliff side walk to Cliffs of Moher which was spectacular but super muddy. Amazing and majestic. Bus back to town could have been more on time and available.

Doolin is a cute little town and is a great place to stay for close proximity to the Cliffs of Moher. There isn't much to do in Doolin, so I recommend staying there only to spend the night after visiting the Cliffs that afternoon or before visiting the Cliffs the next morning.

Plenty of restaurants and lovely craft shops. Good atmosphere and traditional Irish music available in the evenings.

The Ramblers Rest is an amazing B&B in Doolin! The ocean view from our room was spectacular! Michael, the host was very kind and informative! The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed being able to walk from the B&B up to the path that leads to the Cliffs of Moher! We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day with amazing views! Michael suggested a restaurant in town followed by a local pub that played Trad Irish Music. Our stay here was the highlight of our trip to Ireland!
Amazing location upon a hilltop overlooking the coast and cliffs of Moher. Lovely old hotel/guesthouse with it's very own castle ruins. The property has a top notch restaurant which served us dinner and breakfast. Also there is a bar off the lobby for a pint anytime. Parking was plentiful. The grounds were beautiful. The owner provided a history of the property and a castle tour. The castle was in great condition. Meals were amazing, other guests were lovely to meet and talk to.
Rooms: The room/bathroom were great and very modern, as the property seemed to be brand new! Breakfast included a few pastries, but water/tea/coffee with a kettle was also provided.
Location: Excellent! We were able to walk into Doolin at night to get dinner / go to the pubs. It was about ~10-20 min walk depending on where you go. Close driving distance to Lahinch, Doolin Pier, and Cliffs of Moher as well!
Hosts/Check-In: Very friendly and helpful! Check-in was super easy as well.
Lovely place in Doolin, very plush and comfortable with stylish neutral greys. Great shower. The breakfast deserves a special mention, with eggs made to order and interesting homemade items on the buffet. The owners are very nice and available for tips and recommendations, we had a great dinner in town because the owner was able to make a reservation for us. Bonus point, Bertie, the fluffy dog who welcome all guests!
We were only visiting Doolin for a night for a wedding but the time spent in the hotel was great. Really comfy beds, friendly staff and a great breakfast. On a sunny day you would easily be able to see the Cliffs of Moher. We were also very grateful to be given a lift into the village by the hosts as the weather wasn’t well enough for us to walk - thank you so much for that!
The property is so close to the bus stop and good restaurants. If you’re staying in Doolin to see the Cliffs, this is the place for you. Bernice was so kind to welcome us and the property was exactly as pictured. Also, I thought the water pressure for the shower was fantastic. My husband and I had a great stay and would definitely come back!
Cormac and his wife Liz were lovely hosts for our two nights in Doolin. The home is lovely and is in the perfect location for all the pubs, restaurants, and outdoor experiences such as hiking to the Cliffs of Moher or a ferry out to the Aran Islands. The rooms were clean and comfortable with an amazing breakfast. We will definitely be back.
It was lovely to have something to ourselves not rely on pugs for our dinner. Having our own private space that wasn’t a hotel was also very nice. The cottage had a great view and as only a short drive into the village. I highly recommend this location if you are spending a couple days in Doolin.
The ladies at the front desk were so very accommodating and very friendly.
The food in the hotel’s restaurant was unbelievable delicious. Our waiter had recommended a couple of his favorite dishes. We were blown away as to how good the food was. Thank you for a great experience.
Great value for a beautiful room near the pubs in Doolin! Perfectly clean, great wifi, and the most comfortable bed in which I’ve slept since arriving in Ireland two weeks ago. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to the restaurant. It is exceptional and also a good value!
The Fiddle + Bow Hotel exceeded our expectations! The staff were great. Our accommodations were so cute and welcoming. I loved all the personal touches. The restaurant(Russell’s) was amazing. I can’t say enough about this little secret that I’m sharing with everyone!
Fantastic rooms, wonderful hosts, my family was really looked after, beautiful rooms, I couldn't have found a better gem in doolin than dubhlinn b&b, location was great, great breakfast menu caters for all, possible best stay ever
Spotlessly clean. Bedroom and bathroom were finished to a very high standard. Martin sent us a message ahead of our stay with information on Doolin and where is good for breakfast/dinner which we found very helpful! Highly recommend
The location was great! Beautiful view out our window of the cliffs of Moher and 3 minute walk to Doolin ferry. The breakfast was outstanding and the price was great. The beds were comfortable and the innkeeper was very friendly.
We stayed at the Doolin Inn for three nights. It was the perfect location in town, and the accommodations were superb! Loved that breakfast was included every morning. The staff was so gracious and kind! Would highly recommend.
Everything was wonderful from the initial greeting to the morning we drove away. Incredible location right in Doolin. You can walk everywhere. Great restaurants and pubs. Can't ask for a better spot to stay.
