Margaret River Resort, hotel in Margaret River Town

Just an 8-minute walk from the river, the Margaret River Resort offers air-conditioned rooms with TV, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and an on site pub serving meals and local wines.

Pretty comfortable and very spacious but make sure you turn off stove switch as it is also the kitchen fan and that kept us awake one night because we couldn’t work out why the fan (mistaking it for bathroom fan)wouldn’t turn off!

The Margaret Retreat Studio, hotel in Margaret River Town

The Margaret Retreat Studio is situated in Margaret River Town and offers a garden, barbecue facilities and a terrace.

Mayra is an excellent host. Very friendly and welcoming. Collecting the keys was super easy. The facilities were very homely and created a warm welcoming feeling. It was clean and well laid out. I couldn’t enjoy breakfast as I was leaving very early but I have no doubt that it would have been of great standard. Thank you Mayra!

One of my favourite places to visit!

One of my favourite places to visit! I live in the city (Perth) and not nearly enough people are as friendly and conversational as they are in Margaret River. The beaches are absolutely beautiful and you’re surrounded by nature. You must visit the Margaret River Chocolate Company, Wow Illusions, and the Margaret River Sweet Shop. And make sure to stop in at Cowaramup on the way through! Some of the roads are a little iffy, but majority have either been updated or are getting updated as we speak.

Beautiful scenery and wilderness to explore.

Beautiful scenery and wilderness to explore. Incredible wineries, breweries and a great distillery to check out. Excellent food options, and unbelievable coastal vistas. Go bush walking, enjoy the beach! Only downside is things can be a bit pricier than in a big city - ie: groceries, meals out etc. But that's a fairly minor complaint, and something to be expected.

This is a lovely town, but be aware it really exists just because of tourism. The vast majority of shops are there to support that, so gift shops aplenty! It’s worth a visit for an afternoon, or stay there, or locally, as a base, but in itself is rather limited.

Great little town, easily walkable, with many good places to eat and drink. Lots of good shops too. Close to lovely beaches, forest walks and many wineries. A very good location for those that enjoy the outdoor life and good food.

Location is perfect, we walked everywhere from the house to margaret river town, walked to dinner, shopping, pub all of it... Secured back yard for dogs and close to walk trails, everything you could have needed inside the house and quite secluded being the rear unit. Bedrooms are neat with ceilaing fans and there is an aircon in the main living area. Its is definately a fair price for good accomodation.

My wife and I had a great visit to Margaret River and our stay at Riverglen Chalets was an important part of it. The cabin had been recently renovated with clean modern Kitchen Bathroom and Bedroom yet it retained its rustic charm. Location was convenient to Margaret River and surrounding areas. Hosts were responsive and helpful. I can highly recommend Riverglen Chalets to fellow traveller.s

Perfect location in the centre of Margaret River, close to cafes, restaurants and shops. It is also very close to the national park walks along the river. An easy drive to the nearby attractions of the wineries, beaches, lighthouses and caves. We really appreciated the high end appliances and attention to detail in the rooms. The daily fresh bread and (real) milk was a treat.

It’s modern and yet located in a forested area. Central location to explore Margaret river and near to supermarkets. There are ample space in the house for everyone. Wildlife outside of unit. Upon arrival, we spotted a kangaroo. In the mornings (abt 7+am), there are lots of kangaroos 50m to the left of the house. Dishwasher is available which is fantastic.

Location is perfect to roam around Margaret River on foot. The house has large living areas, kitchen well stocked with cooking appliances etc. Bedrooms are good size, beds and pillows are comfy. Fireplace was set and ready for lighting, just wasn't quite cold enough to waste the wood but it would have been a feature in the Winter.

Peaceful surroundings in bushland approx. 5km from Margaret River township. Full facilities for a self contained stay. Relaxing environment. A wood burning heater gives a 'cosy night in' vibe on chillier evenings. Kangaroos roam near the property to help create an 'at one with nature' bushland experience.

The location is breathtaking and peaceful and I always feel so calm and refreshed after staying at 8 Willows. The bed is the most comfy bed I've ever slept in! I love how spacious the chalet is and the fact the kitchen is fully equipped. This is officially my favourite place to stay in Margaret River.
