Really convent place to stay as you drive and tour the Ring of Kerry. We stayed in a suite and it was super spacious, clean, amazing view of beach and bay, heated floors in the bathroom, nice soaking bathtub and a king size bed. Everything was amazing.

Some colour like flowers on the grounds would be lovely, but the location itself more than compensated for the bland grounds

Dominic and Lillian are incredibly lovely people! Warm, welcoming, and we felt at home. Like staying with an Irish aunt and uncle. I wish we could have stayed there our entire trip around Southwest Ireland. Beautiful, perfect stop on the Ring of Kerry.
Lillian made a lovely breakfast of eggs and pancakes, plus yummy brown bread, delicious coffee and additional morning delights. Whilst having breakfast, Dominic cracked jokes and did some funny slide of hand. Our trip is quite intense so it was mostly a place to lay our head, and have some breakfast, but we truly wish our stay had been longer and not as face-paced so we could have more time there. Dominic was full of great suggestions on where to go next, and how best to get there (vs using Apple Maps). Shower pressure was amazing.
Upon leaving, Dominic gave us all hugs, and it made it that much harder to part ways. If you want a fantastic and interesting Ireland bed and breakfast experience, you have arrived, my friend. Thanks for everything, Lillian, Dominic, Ryan, and Phoebe!!!
I love Caherdaniel. The beaches are amazing and once the sun shines you could be anywhere in the world. Even without the sunshine though the place is fabulous and I can sit and watch the sea for hours. Derrynane beach is great for walks and right at the end of it is a fantastic house in the shape of a boat built into the rock. A fabulous sight to see.
And another 10 min drive on the other direction is the lovely historic Staigue Fort

I have so many fond childhood memories of Caherdaniel, it's a beautiful area full of amazing beaches and walks. I try to go back every chance I get. I love going to Daniel O'Connell's house, and walking the grounds. The tour is also worth checking out for any history fans. You really need to have a car to travel around the area, or a bike and a fit body to ride it. We ate at the Blind Piper which was very nice, but there are a number of other places within driving distance.

Beautiful beaches, stunning scenery, convenient shop, wonderful restaurant in O'Carrolls Cove, easy drive to Waterville for additional cafes and restaurants and bars, this is a beautiful part of Ireland, scenic, friendly people, unspoilt landscape, horseriding, watersports, Derrynane house and beach, Derrynane hotel, Glenbeg beach, plenty to see and do, if you want to experience Ireland then don't miss this area.
Derrynane bay house is situated just outside the village of Caherdaniel. It has a lovely view of the bay and surrounding mountains esp from the breakfast room. Lovely people running the B&B also. The beds were comfortable and the breakfasts delicious with a great choice offered. All residents were nicely spaced out in the breakfast room due to Covid regulations.
Friendly staff , good food and a fabulous view from the bar and restaurant. Stayed in an ocean view room which was well worth the extra price. Really nice hotel in a spectacular part of the country close to the beautiful Derrynane beach and house.
Staff where very pleasant and accommodating.
Will definitely stay again.
Great location. Good amenities such as washer and dryer. Lovely walks nearby including an Ogham Stone and wonderful beach nature walk. House is roomy and good for a family. Owner Michael is very responsive and easy to contact. There’s binder with helpful information on the house and local travel.
Wonderfully located hotel, what more can you ask for…
Most friendly and accomodating staff, clean rooms and a cold water pool with sauna/steam rooms. Very generous breakfasts and tasty dinner menu in the evening.
The location half way around the ring of Kerry perfect spot to stay to explore, so many beaches, drives and beauty spots near by. Views from the hotel right on the sea front are amazing.
We really enjoyed our stay, the staff were exceptional, the hotel is very comfortable and in the perfect location.
Food was fab,
Will definitely recommend to friends and family
