Leixlip is a small town, very friendly but Leixlip Manor was not up to scratch. We found a nice restaurant in Leixlip as the Leixlip Manor had no food for evening meal although we were advised it had. Hotel is in great location for liffey valley shopping centre. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good and evening dinner was good. Down side was bathroom shower hose sprayed out water went out onto floor. The sink stopper didn't work and also the toilet didn't flush very well. Had to put curtains up on window sill so the heat of radiator could get out.CarolineIreland - 10Scored 10

Pretty little Irish village just outside Dublin iwth strong links to the Guinness family. Lovely walks along the river Liffey and countryside with plenty of pubs and dining options. Only 1/2 an hour by car from the airport, ferry terminals and Dublin City. 2 train stations with journey to Dublin also about 1/2 an hour and good value plus decent bus services. Liffey Valley shopping complex is also nearby. Overall providees the best of both worlds for a city/country stayMarkUnited Kingdom

Did notice a change in management etc, always a great stay but this time was exceptional. Food was as always great. Plan to continue using this hotel on every visit to Leixlip. It would make more sense to stay at an airport hotel the night before we fly home but I love this hotel and will continue to always stay there.
