Was very homely and extremely clean place . We were very happy about everything, handy places to go for dinner and the breakfast from owners was fantastic. Very friendly staff , served promptly and they went way beyond was expected. Very happy about stay we definitely will be back if we go again that part of donegal .

A small Donegal town on Wild Atlantic way. Not much around. In Gaeltacht region but everyone English speakers too. Beautiful walks around the Poisoned Glenn. At the foot of Mount Errigal so plenty of hikes available too for all abilities.

This is a stunning part of Donegal! Great day trips and incredible Irish music at a local pub called Leo's. We stayed 3 night and had great weather! We arrived for New Year so there were great pubs, great food and lots of music to keep us entertained.

Local hills and beaches are great for outdoor activities, weather allowing and are very scenic. Great again weather allowing for night sky watching and sunset watching or just letting time go by. Ideally you need a motor vehicle to get around as shops etc are not in general close by though you do see many people out cycling and the roads do not have pavements in places so you have to walk on the road. Most motorists are Ok but you do get the odd person who should not be allowed behind a steering wheel. The area near the coast is covered by holiday homes but go in land and you enter some stunning scenery the same applies to stretches of coast line. You also get a choice of eating establishments and supermarkets are dotted along the main roads.AAnonymousUnited Kingdom

Room was comfy and warm and had an excellent view of the sea and surrounding area. Bed was very clean and comfy and all areas were very clean. Nice thought with home made buns for tea on arrival. Breakfast was huge and very enjoyable. Nice touch when Noreen made my grandson some home made pancakes that went down a treat. We would definitely stay in this Bed an Breakfast again. The leisure area is adjoined and has all you could ask for, friendly staff even done a show around. Lovely Restuarant detached from the hotel but only by a few yards. Staff were great, menu catered for all tastes and priced very fairly. The hotel is close enough to the coast, beach and Bunbeg is a short drive. Noreen is a fabulous hostess, very kind, helpful and she had the fire lit for us arriving, a huge bonus! She shared her knowledge of the local area and directed us to the most beautiful places. We had a fantastic stay at Primrose Cottage and we can't wait to return again soon.

A very good breakfast is available from what I could see. There is an excellent bar-restaurant on site. which is open for food beginning at around 11 AM and open until around 9:00 PM. We wereat the hotel ion the middle of the week during the off-season, so there are more food and drink option on weekends and during the high season.
