We were celebrating an anniversary and they made sure we had a corner room which was huge with a large bathroom and large deep bath which was amazing after a day of walking. The staff were exceptional and the room (1615) beautifully designed and quiet. We stayed 6 nights. The bed was really comfortable with quality linen and pillows. We also liked the Cipriani restaurant next door, which can be accessed through a door in the hotel lobby. We had breakfasts there and a lunch. Hotel guests get a 20% discount. It's a popular venue, so lunch/dinner reservations are recommended.

Don't forget to pack your comfy shoes or trainers this is the best place to explore on foot and if you get a little tired, take a rest in Central park or Grand Central or the New York Public Library

If you get really tired or if the weather turns make sure you invest in a weekly Subway pass the best way to get from the top to the bottom of the city for only 30 dollars!!!
