The Killeshin Hotel is one mile from Portlaoise and junction 16 off the M7 motorway. It offers a bistro, an indoor pool, hot tub, a gym and free parking. Breakfast was excellent, as was all the staff, well mannered, and so friendly, especially the man on the reception desk, (sorry I forget his name) He has a beard. He has great customer service skills. I believe this is a key element in dealing with the public. Would definitely recommend The KELLISHION HOTEL. Ann.

The Midlands Park Hotel is a luxurious 4-star property located in the centre of Portlaoise and a 5-minute walk from the train and bus station. Special mention to the night porter after 12 at night, I came in late because I had a flight and the man couldn't be more accomodating... car was too low to get into car park and he got me parking in another section that was barriered in, couldn't ask for a nicer man to meet that late at night after flying

The Maldron Hotel is just off junction 17 of the M7 motorway, only 5 minute’s drive from Portlaoise town centre and O'Moore Park. It boasts a 20-metre pool, free Wi-Fi, free parking and a gym. Room size was great value for the rate

Located in Mountmellick and only 22 km from Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre, Summergrove House provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked and served to one's liking, I really enjoyed it and there was no rush on it, very relaxed atmosphere. The bedroom and bed were very cosy, lots of original features everywhere in the house, and I got to play my instrument downstairs in one of the reception rooms. It was a lovely stay and I'd love to go back one day.

Offering a garden and garden view, LittleField B&B Durrow, Laois is situated in Durrow, 28 km from Kilkenny Railway Station and 29 km from Kilkenny Castle. It was lovely, beautyful. We couldn't have find a better place than this. We felt like home. We booked just 1 room for 4 persons but at list the owner told us, that we can take 2 separtely rooms if we like. The breakfast was also perfect. Thank u sooo much 😍 We got more and more than we paid for.
