Very comfortable and spacious manor room. Great shower and comfy beds. Great location if you don't need to be in the city. Great value for money on weekend we stayed.

Weather bad but nothing can be done about that.

Leixlip is a small town, very friendly but Leixlip Manor was not up to scratch. We found a nice restaurant in Leixlip as the Leixlip Manor had no food for evening meal although we were advised it had. It was very disappointing,
We were thankful we only stayed one night.

Hotel is in great location for liffey valley shopping centre. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good and evening dinner was good. Down side was bathroom shower hose sprayed out water went out onto floor. The sink stopper didn't work and also the toilet didn't flush very well. Had to put curtains up on window sill so the heat of radiator could get out.

Pretty little Irish village just outside Dublin iwth strong links to the Guinness family. Lovely walks along the river Liffey and countryside with plenty of pubs and dining options. Only 1/2 an hour by car from the airport, ferry terminals and Dublin City. 2 train stations with journey to Dublin also about 1/2 an hour and good value plus decent bus services. Liffey Valley shopping complex is also nearby. Overall providees the best of both worlds for a city/country stay
Grainne saved my life that day, mine and my tourist's too!;) We had no rooms to stay at the nearby hotel, and I found her place which is located in the same district - I love Leixlip neighborhood, it's nice and peaceful there, far away from Dublin crowd!:) And so was the lodge! Apart from that, as I had no place to go, Grainne let me stay - as she had no more apartments available - at her own house! Amazing hospitality!:))
Staff were friendly and helpful, beautiful location with easy access to Dublin from bus stop opposite hotel and lots of restaurants, pubs in walking distance. Also, nice walks along the river (weather permitting). Our room was very peaceful, we could not hear any noise from bar areas (see below). Overall, would recommend the hotel, just be sure to book in one of the quieter rooms.
The location is amazing, a busy Dublin suburb (in Co Kildare) but a tranquil relaxing retreat. Great bus connections closeby directly into the city centre. Lovely town of Leixlip and St Catherine's Park to explore on the doorstep.
Beautiful old Manor House and grounds, watched a badger wandering around early morning, foxes viewed also..
If you want to go into Dublin parking is crazy. However, directly outside the hotel is a bus stop with busses arriving every 15-20 minutes that will take you directly into the city centre. Getting back was just as simple and direct. Loved the location!
Breakfast offered excellent choice including fresh fruit and even VERY good homemade porridge which is not often found in hotels nowadays. Location could not have been better.....even had view from our window of beautiful pony in adjacent field.
The hotel is situated in a beautiful park on the outskirts of Dublin. There is a lovely Victorian garden.
My bedroom was in the courtyard where the former stables and staff accommodation have been transformed into bedrooms.
EVERYTHING! Amazing, unique accommodations. Great location. Castletown, Leixlip, Maynooth… all beautiful and charming. Dublin… just a half hour away. We loved this place for so many reasons and highly recommend.
secluded and has a characteristic you’ll find nowhere else in Ireland! Makes you feel like you went back 200 years back in time! Nothing like this ever experience and if you have a chance to book don’t hesitate!
Very little to be honest we booked with booking.com in good faith having stayed twice before and loving it to arrive to a hotel being refurbished. Should have been informed before arrival or booking .
Comfortable rooms and a great breakfast - really grateful for the earlier check in as we were then able to get to our event in time. Amenities seem quite new and the hotel felt modern.
It’s a nice hotel outside of Dublin yet only 15-20 minutes to the airport. Comfortable beds, large bathroom and fun outdoor area. We would stay here again.
