Really huge small cottage, it fitted super for me being alone. I loved the position out of the town centre really quite and with a spectacular view. I was by walk so it is not a problem to move around if you like to walk, the island is small and the owner kindly picked me up at the port and stored my bagagges the last day, as well she dropped them to the portme to the port, so I was able to enjoy all the day of the departure, she was really kind and helpful! I recommend

I loved absolutely everything - the view was an absolute bonus and was not expected. The bed was so comfortable, I simply didn't want to leave and the water pressure is fantastic! Everything was so clean and pristine and I truly felt at home.

We had a good contact with the friendly owner who quickly brought us the towels that were missing. The apartment had even a washing machine, good china, and candles if you need to have a romantic dinner. Mattresses were good.

So much space, huge living room and bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, a lot of convenient hangers and space, all areas super clean, available washing and drying machine in the common areas. We received detailed and simple information for check-in and check-out, super friendly communication. The location is perfect, less than 10minutes walking to the ferry (perfect for travelers without a car). This was by far the best stay out of 13 accommodations across Iceland! I couldn’t recommend more.

Hotel Vestmannaeyjar is si cited on the heart of the village, very close to the port and ferry. Rooms are warm and comfortable, hotel has a very good restaurant with excellent menu. very recommended for a stay.

Hostel Sunnuhóll is located on Heimaey in the Westman Islands, just 650 metres from the harbour. Free WiFi access is available, along with bed linen and towels. Clean hostel, well stocked kitchen with fridge and freezer space for guests. Beds were very comfy. Central location with free parking outside.
