Staff and the owner have been amazing, very helpful and friendly. Upon my request, they came to pick me up at night time at the arrival for cheap price and waited for me. They were previously in touch with me constantly regarding my request of pickup help. The room was modern style, very confortable and clean. Very confy and big bed. Breakfast continental was very good for both variety and quality, served at my room. They have a menu room service and you can choose among many options of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Location is perfect for late arrivals and early departures as hotel is about 5 minutes driving from the Kathmandu airport.

Kathmandu è sporca e caotica ma allo stesso tempo davvero affascinante, di grande spiritualità. Gli edifici e i luoghi di culto sono molto suggestivi ed hanno un'architettura caratteristica.

Meta esclusivamente se avete intenzione di fare trekking, purtroppo io ho avuto un imprevisto al ginocchio e non ho potuto farlo. Katmandu e tutta la valle inquinata e caotica, spostamenti che impiegano molto tempo per la qualità delle strade e per il traffico. Da vedere Pashupatinath, il luogo delle cremazioni, Swayambhunath il tempio delle scimmie da dove si può ammirare tutta Katmandu, piazza Durban e la stupa di Boudhanath. Ho mangiato spesso da Rosemary' kitchen sia per l'ambiente sia per la qualità del cibo poi consiglio anche Fire and ICE, pizzeria e pasta italiane.

Per 7 volte visito KTM ed i luoghi sacri. Girando nelle stradine tra Thamel e Durban square, adoro entrare nei cortili interni delle case , trovi sempre piccoli templi, statue, pozzi dove attingere l acqua. Incontri la vita reale degli abitanti e la loro amorevole ospitalità. In quanto ai "souvenirs" ... well too much is too much.

Città che ha sempre il suo fascino. Mi piace molto camminare nei quartieri e visitare i patrimoni unesco. Città molto vivace, ma molto vivibile. Avrei voluto più tempo per visitare più luoghi. Alla prossima!

Bellissima città da visitare e poi si dovrebbe visitare anche la campagna. Da tenere una settimana per questo e due settimane per un trekking in alta quota per chi piace.
