A lovely place to stay as part of our trip around Mauritius. The apartment is modern and well appointed, and the property feels peaceful. It’s well located, close to anything you may wish to do in Le Morne (especially if you have a car) and down the street from the excellent Wapalapam restaurant. Josephine was incredibly kind and communicative and her colleagues were likewise warm and helpful. They really made the stay even better for us.

I loved the friendliness of the staff. As a young solo traveller, i felt safe and welcome like i came to visit a family. I stayed at Ma vie la for 10 days and i was sad to leave! Exceptional service, got help to plan different activities through my stay, overall a great experience. My apartment was clean and beautiful. Absolutely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay with great hosts. They are super friendly and the dinner is absolutely worth it. Also a lovely breakfast. The house is located very close to the beach. It's helpful to speak some words of french, but english will also work. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing villa 😍 - spacious - sparkling clean and I mean sparkling!! - beautiful - toys for kids, books, baby cot even baby towel , so many towels for adults - swimming pool clean - you have everything you need not only kitchen equipment and facilities, washing machine, dishwasher ect but also absolutely everything like soap, toothpaste provided, sugar, coffee, olive oil, bowl of fruit complimentary, sweets and nuts and even local beer, mineral water, beverages and rum. - area is beautiful and picturesque - from the all villas in the area I liked this one the most from what I have seen around the streets - owner is extremely kind and helpful - much more beautiful than on the pictures - near to many places of interest - villa has absolutely everything it's like you live there Things to have in mind: - You will need a car. Beach and the village are near but not walking distance. There is a restaurant several minutes by walk. The map that booking has is a bit confusing. The property is next to Ma Vie La and villa Talassa and not next to Dinarobin bus station as it shows on booking.com map - too many mosquitos even if you use all kinds of repellents. It was uncomfortable to stay outside in the late evening and also to swim in the swimming pool in the late afternoon. However house was full of anti mosquito repellent provided by the host so this was very considerable and kind. - there is a cleaning lady coming every day in the morning for several hours leaving everything sparkling clean but it's a big house so of course it takes some time. have this in mind. She is also doing the dishwashing if you would like - there are cameras covering external perimeter around the house so this might feel safe for someone and not comfortable for someone else. If this is something that bothers you have it in mind otherwise everything more than great! Villa is a gem, simply amazing!!! Thank you for everything, Ancy! Really good location, close to Le Morne beach and mountain. Lagonn Island with a beach is also very close. The west side of the island where you can watch the sunset. Very friendly and lovely hosts who prepared great tasty food. The owners of the house will treat you like their own.
