This was the cleanest and best equipped rental I have ever stayed it. The hosts were fantastic. After I noted on the first day that there was no ironing board (the listing said there would) a brand new one was provided the day after. They helped with tools to adjust our rental bikes and kindly offered to do a load of washing for us as we stayed for 10 days (which arrived back in the apartment all clean, dry and neatly folded by the time we had got back later in the day!). There is clearly a lot of thought gone into how they can make a stay at the apartment the most enjoyable and comfortable experience possible. All the free teas, coffees and cordial drinks were much appreciated. The kitchenware, furnishings and beds were excellent. The bathroom is outstanding. The restaurant (now owned/managed by the apartment owners' son) is lovely too.

It was really a nice stay. We were very nicely welcomed and shown around. The property is really very beautiful and lovingly landscaped. The little house is also lovingly furnished and has everything you need (Senseo coffee maker, kettle, stove, dishes, pots, pans, enough towels, etc.). We had our privacy at all times. Schoorl, Bergen and Alkmaar are really super beautiful. You should definitely explore the area, also super well possible by bike. I would also recommend a bike tour to see as much as possible. The people were very nice and accommodating. You have no matter where you were always felt welcome.

We stayed in Park Heerehof Lodge 10 for 8 nights with 4 adults and 1 ten months old baby. It was one of the best time for our stay. Very nice 3 bedroom (2 upstairs, 1 downstairs) with kitchen and a living space. There are sun-chair outside our lodge for relaxing in the sun too. Baby cot (£5/stay) and chair were provided upon request. Shower was great. Kitchen are very well equipped with utensils and appliances. They also provide charcoal and equipment for BBQ. We never really dine outside of the lodge as we cook our own meal and BBQ everyday. A supermarket is within walking distance around 10mins in the small town, on the right when you walk out of the entrance. There are very nice bakery and butchery where we bought all our meat for the BBQ. On the left there is a Dune park with nice view where you can hike to higher point to see the whole area. We also drive 13mins to the Petten beach. Rental of the bikes are also available which they will deliver to your lodge. Shoutout to Park Manager Hans who greeted us warmly and showed us our lodge when we arrive. He is super friendly and easily communicate through WhatsApp. The park also have washing machine and dryer in the premises for guest to use which is awesome. Also, Stella who is the person we contact through booking.com was very friendly and helpful.

Menno was really friendly. The apartment was so clean, tidy and the attention to detail was great - it had everything you needed - including things like hand soap, toilet rolls, tea towels etc. We arranged for bedding to be provided which was also excellent. Location was super! Right next to the dunes and, for us, away from the other 'tourist' areas so was completely private. Shops were about 1km away but a wonderful walk either through the town or over the dunes. We can fully recommend staying here!

The cozy little studio was perfectly located, just a 2 minute walk from the center. It is beautifully decorated and furnished. Once you stay in this house, you don't want to go home:-) Everything was super clean. There is a well equipped kitchen, a TV/Netflix and a good working internet connection. The hosts were very friendly and always available when needed.
