Com jardim e vista do jardim, a HISTORICAL JOHN RAST HOUSE circa 1875 é uma pousada situada em um edifício histórico em Roseburg, a 17 km do Wildlife Safari. We had the most fantastic stay at Cherri and Mike’s lovely house. It’s a memory we will cherish forever. The house is beautifully renovated to its original style and Cherri told us the history. We were in the Train Room which is train themed with artefacts from the old railroad days. It was a shared bathroom which was fine as we also had a basin in our room. We had an excellent restaurant recommendation for dinner and then sat in the house’s lovely garden which was nicely lit and we really appreciated the glass of wine offered by our hosts. Mike cooked the best breakfast we’ve had on our trip. Avocado, tomatoes, onions, etc on toast. Delicious.

Crooked River Ranch Cabins offers accommodation with a patio. The air-conditioned and heated units have a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette, depending on the unit, with a microwave and a fridge. Stunning location and view. Spacious suite and well appointed (we stayed in the lodge) with private covered patio. Immaculately clean.

Breakfast was absolutely delicious everything was homemade and fresh! We would definitely visit again and again.

The hosts were very welcoming Since they had a cancellation our room was upgraded to the Redwood suite which was fantastic. There’s a short hike beside a mossy stoned creek that takes you up to private waterfall with a treehouse suite that is available to rent. The breakfast we were served in the morning was outstanding.

So many thoughtful amenities and fantastic attention to detail (popcorn, hot chocolate, loads of coffee, well appointed kitchen…)
