Very quiet small motel in a fantastic location just a 5-10 minute walk from the main street in tobermory. Room was small but very tidy and was perfect for our needs. They also had a really nice porch perfect for sunset views. Overall an excellent stay at Grandview!

Cabin was great, it was like a cheaper hotel with a fire pit and grill. There are two cool parks, one looks like a pirate ship. Hammock island, and "island" separate by about a meter of water has 3 hammocks to relax in. There is a zoo, that had 10-15 animals including 3 baby goats, 2 of which were friendly, and baby cow. We spent an hour riding around in a pedal powered go cart which was fun, but tiring. And there is a pond than you can canoe or use a paddle boat in, one paddle boat is shaped like a duck, the other, a swan.
Breathtaking views of the Georgian Bay. The Grotto is a must; The cruise was cancelled because of inclement weather. Plan to revisit next year as I learned belatedly that the cruises tend to get canceled during the fall season.

The grotto and Flower Pot Island were so beautiful.
The grotto and Flower Pot Island were so beautiful.
The snorkelling was fantastic.
When you go to Flower Pot Island bring food, drinks and a bathing suit. The swimming is awesome!
The parking has to be booked in advance (which we did). You need to read the fine print though. You must be at the lot within the first two hours of your reservation or you forfeit your spot. If you need to cancel a reservation, it must be done two days in advance.

1. It is impossible to reach you by phone.
1. It is impossible to reach you by phone. I tried several times and left messages - no reply. The only people that answer are the ones attending the boat cruses. They transfer the phone to you without avail.
2. The building we stayed in made an annoying noise all night long. Was hard to sleep. We asked others and they experienced the same annoying noise,
3. The room had no AC. We kept the windows in the back and front open to get a draft. It finally cooled down at about 2AM.
4. You asked about breakfast in the survey we filled out. Were we entitled for that breakfast, and if where was it?

Small village on a lake. Not many shops and restaurants.
Small village on a lake. Not many shops and restaurants. Not much choice of food and if your hotel is not offering breakfast then you will need to find a suitable restaurant which opens in the morning becAuse not all places are open at 8am. Quiet and clean. Good for walks.

The panoramic scene of the sparkling blue waters stretching out into the horizon was simply breathtaking. The gentle waves crashing against the shore created a soothing symphony, inviting a sense of calm and tranquility.

Must go to flower pot island, the Groto and visit the lighthouse.
Beautiful clear blue waters. Lots of opportunities for hikes in the areas but must be prepared to wear proper shoes if going on the Bruce trail.

The staff was great, and the location of this property was just very convenient to the tourist spots in Tobermory. The service was excellent, and they went beyond by accommodating our request for our kid. The restaurant is also very good if you would to dine in. I definitely recommend Coach House Inn to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Tobermory. We also look forward to future stay shall we return to Tobermory again.
Thank you again for your great service.
I don't have the words to summarize it. The property, the room, the view of the lake in front of the porches is absolutely stunning!
The hosts are pay attention to every detail, from breakfast to amenities, to make your stay the most enjoyable possible.
Also, I had the chance to meet Christopher in person and he was amazing and lovely, even gave me nice tips to explore the town of Tobermory i. The Fall season.
I will definitely return during Summer months.
Great location - close to Tobermory city center and hiking trails while in a secluded natural space. Fire pit and view were awesome. We appreciated the availability of AC and WiFi. It’s pretty new, full kitchen. Bathroom was clean.
We had an issue with the toilet, but property manager was available during the night of the long weekend (Civic day). She resolved our problem in a timely and professional manner.
We choose this motel for it's beautiful view of the water. It did not disappoint. We sat on the deck with the free coffee provided and watched a beautiful sunrise. The rooms had a cottage feel to them and the bed was so comfy. The motel was in walking distant to the stores and restaurants. Overall a great experience. I will choose this motel again next time I go to Tobermory.
My husband and I loved the location, the rooms were clean, and we loved that you could lounge in so many places and have view of the water and beautiful sunsets. You are close to the Grotto as well. We will definitely be staying again next time we come back to Tobermory.
- Room was clean
- Beds were comfortable and pillows were fluffy
- Water pressure was good
- Smart TV in room had Disney+ available to watch
- Enough outlets to charge all electronic devices
- Short drive to town of Tobermory and Bruce Peninsula National Park
The breakfast location, the staff recommended was not in question. The food was great to start for the day. The hotel location was very great during the night because it's in front the water even though it still cold during our stay but I love it.
Location of the cottage is very awesome. close to all attractions of Tobermory. The house was super clean and host is very active and response right away. Will definitely come again to this cottage. Will recommend to my friends and family
The location is wonderful. The front desk is super friendly and patiently answered all my questions. Highly recommended if you are taking the ferry the next morning or just visiting the town of Tobermory.
We liked the facilities and cozy rooms. It literally felt comfortable. It was budget friendly and enjoyable stay. We would recommend this hotel to all my friends who are planning their trip
