It was a terrible holiday I came with my service dog and was placed in accommodation that had a flight off steps and there was no lightning outside due to it being broken to which I fell down and was bruised,
The bedding was damp because there was no heating and I was freezing and the mould was everywhere on the blinds and the inside off cupboards

We didnt walk up into the village to try eating out here but explored the rest of the island which has great views and some good restaurants. We walked along the harbour housed by private house boats and a sailing club which blocked the view of the sea. An old map sign at the back of the parking lot indicated a short old walking trail through the marsh up to the town and other older trails. We found the lagoon trail poorly marked and overgrown but did see some interesting birds there. We had one sunny day and two cloudy wet days which affects the experience.

Easy to get to the local beach although it is mostly pebbly (small sand strip once the tide is out). Local shop c;lose to Birdham Hotel was very helpful and well stocked.
Worth going to see the Bembridge Windmill (National Trust Property) to marvel at the workmanship. When open it is also possible to climb the almost vertical stairs to the three floors - pretty scary experience :-)

We liked the beach at the Foreland best as it was always empty and parking was easy. There was a good Pub nearby The Crab and Lobster. We also liked Yaverland Beach and St Helen's. Both had free parking for Blue Badge holders.

Pretty village with interesting range of local shops and places to eat and drink. It has a lovely coastal setting and there are great walks to the beach from the centre and good swimming too. You can walk around the village easily and there are frequent buses to take you around the Island if you wish.
I ate at the Birdham which had a fantastic menu and as well as being a pub/restaurant also has rooms.
There looked to be plenty of other choices in the village as well.

Bembridge is mainly residential.
Bembridge is mainly residential. We went for several short walks during our stay; down to the seaside and along the local high street. Neither was noteworthy, but served the purpose of settling our meal and getting some fresh air. You definitely need a car to get to any amenities in the area.
Staff were very helpful . I would not consider the room we had to be a 'superior' king-size room, (we had enough room to walk around the outside of our bed.) However, it is a beautiful old building and the hotel rooms seem to be in the process of refurbishment. Our room was above the bar area, but it did not affect our sleep. Good tea/coffee making facilities with added biscuits & sweets. Breakfast was very nice - with a good range of choice on the menu. The location was ideal for us. Bembridge is a pretty little village.
We love this holiday park. It has a fab location near the beach and Bembridge, great facilities and beautiful surroundings. First time in a TriBeCa and it was wonderful. Like being in a hotel :). The host was responsive and thoughtful, leaving out mini sugars and coffee etc, as well as local area leaflets. The place was spotless. Can’t fault! Just note no access to jacuzzi, in case a bit selling point. Though there’s one in the indoor pool :)
Size, decor, atmosphere, warmth (central heating) and facilities of the yurt. Location on the water's edge, views over the water, wooden decking/veranda, parking right across the road, beach on the harbour just minutes away, walking distance of Bembridge, bus stops very close, frequency of buses (including late at night back, from Ryde). Friendliness of host, Trudy.
Our stay at this delightful efficiency was marvelous. The hosts were welcoming and attentive. The location is a perfect blend of quiet living country living and being close to amenities. It is easy walking distance to the center of town and the Bembridge Windmill. Little Osney was a part of a lovely welcome to Bembridge and we hope to return soon.
Spotlessly clean and great sized room. Friendly and helpful staff who dealt quickly with our late book in due to a delayed ferry crossing. Lovely location in Bembridge with shops nearby and a short walk to the beach and Bembridge Lifeboat Station.
Good selection of drinks at the bar and great service. Vegan breakfast easily sorted on request.
Fantastic location near the bar restaurant and swimming pools and also a short walk down the path to the beach. Crystal could not have been more helpful and was a fantastic host - she helped us book the ferry and was very fast at responding to questions. The caravan was comfortable and had everything we needed. Thanks again, Crystal!
Nice, practical house in quiet location, perfect for a relaxing break. The house has been lived in and loved. If you are expecting 5 star hotel luxury, it's not be the place for you, if you are looking for a comfortable home from home which is dog friendly and a great base for an island break, then we would thoroughly recommend it.
Wonderful, friendly, host George. Right near the water, great pedestrian wilderness walks and high street cafes & shops. George was great at recommending places to eat and have a drink and good on local gossip! Breakfast is continental (no hot food) in a lovely café setting.
Good location and facilities but we were lucky to be situated near them. Very clean and tidy chalet, comfy beds, power shower and well stocked kitchen. Great on site entertainment and close links to other local activities.
It was romantic and not your usual BnB.
The service was excellent and personal, the hosts were very accomodating and pleasant.
Place was near bus stops and a private beach which you could just walk to 8-10mims
The location is amazing! Like the feel and look of the hotel, easy checkin and out! Clean spacious room and nice hot shower. Good simple breakfast for the price we paid.
