We had such a wonderful stay, the kids loved it. We came when the park was closed, late winter. So very few people around, it felt like we had the whole hotel to ourselves, which we really enjoyed. Christina from the restaurant made every morning an absolute delight, she couldn't have been more accommodating and kind hearted towards our children. The room was great, breakfast is excellent, the zoo is good fun for those who also come when the park is closed, and there's a little park too. There's not much around but there is a nice garden centre down the road, and good access to London.

Clean, spacious and beds were incredibly comfortable. The little touches in the room were fab too.

The receptionist who checked us in and out and the bar/restaurant staff, especially on the second day.
We loved the hotel. We had 2 rooms. One in Safari and one in Azteca. Both clean and comfy. The Azteca room was very colourful with animal wallpaper. The breakfasts were buffet style and the same in both Zafari and Temple. So much choice on offer. We ate at both restaurants in the evening. Zafari was a menu and Temple was buffet style with lots of choice to mix and match if you liked. We preferred Temple, the roast pork was delicious and liked the choices on offer. The early access was excellent. The world of jumanji was open for hotel guests along with seastorm and the gruffalo. We rode mandrill mayhem 3 times in a row during that hour. Awesome coaster! Vampire was only running one train and on half capacity when we visited but luckily it was mid week and the park wasn't busy, although the Friday queues almost doubled. We even got an afternoon trip into London as Chessington South train station is a 10 minute walk and takes you direct to Waterloo Station within 30 minutes for £10. Definitely worth it. We loved our stay and would highly recommend for adults and children.

Location of hotel was convenient for attending a funeral.
Location of hotel was convenient for attending a funeral. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were helpful and polite. Food in the restaurants was good and catered for food allergies. Our stay was out of season but having previously lived in this area heavy traffic can be problematic in the summertime.

It serves as a hub to London or other areas, as a train station and supermarket are nearby. If you plan to visit London, public transportation is recommended with a cap of 14.2 per day. It takes 1 hr to China Town or Tower Bridge. If you go to other cities, the M25 motorway is within 10 drive. Finally, it is not too far to Heathrow Airport.

Well I don't know where to start really.
Well I don't know where to start really. Only stayed here because I couldn't find another hotel nearby at short notice. I was travelling on business and this is not really the hotel for that. Check in and Check out experience was awful. Huge queue + staff that were poorly trained = Bad experience and a long wait both in and out. Plus, the reception staff couldn't even print a VAT receipt at checkout and it took 2 calls to reception plus 2 calls to the finance team later to get one...I mean, really? Oh, and in the morning there was a really strong smell of vomit in the lift, luckily there were stairs. The room was quirky though, and clean. The jungle theme was something different. I will avoid the hotel next time.

We bought our toddler for her birthday and she absolutely loved it! There are plenty of things to do here, it has its own sealife centre and zoo! Highly recommend an overnight stay if you’re going to the park. Especially Halloween as they do a kids party which my little one absolutely loved!
There is also a swimming pool in the hotel so you need to book a slot if you want some time out from
The park! One night isn’t enough I’d definitely stay longer next time
Enjoyed the food both at dinner and breakfast. The room was good but we had thought we were booking one that was slightly more themed - possibly these are upgraded versions of the same thing.
Best thing was to be able to go out of the hotel for the early access visit to some of the animals. The park was mostly closed (we knew this) but this meant that access was still possible for longer in the day if starting from the hotel.
Everything was ideal for our trip, from the park to the hotel. The evening and breakfast meals were great, no complaints. The restaurant staff were great considering it was very busy, especially in the evening. Our room was lovely and spacious for 2 adults, a teenager and an eight year old. Fridge was a plus.
We had a lot of fun at the theme park. We got to experience all the parts. The sea life, the other part of the zoo and went on a lot of rides with the kids. Some queues were long, waiting 40 minutes for rides was a little difficult with two toddlers but had to keep them entertained and have snacks.
We liked that the property had parking and was very close to chessington which was perfect. much preferred over hotel rooms as we could have the back door open and windows to let the air in, although fans were provided too.
It's always nice to come to Chessington . This hotel used to be quite decent . Breakfast improved recently with buffet and fair selection of food , rooms are spacious and nit filthy yet but .... I wouldn't recommend
Loved the hotel all staff was amazing went out of there way to make our stay special and to see the smile on the kids family is priceless and to get away and to have time instead of appointment
The room was amazing. We loved the view of the animals. It was very large for the 4 of us. It was very clean and comfortable. We were absolutely delighted that we chose to stay at the hotel.
The couple that own the property are absolutely lovely and very friendly. The house is in a good location, close to Chessington world of adventure and local shops, pubs. Beds were comfortable.
The check-in process was simple and quick. We were able to book a table for dinner and breakfast easily and for the times required too. Room was spacious with all the facilities needed.
