It was between the beach and the airport away from the very bustling city of Athens. There were small shops, bakeries, and butcher shops within a short walk. Up the hill five minutes was a nice little cafe which had a generous Greek salad and beverages for a reasonable price.

Ww literally only stated 7 hours, to sleep between landing from Chania at midnight and leaving at 7:30 for our morning flight home to Canada. We had issues with our taxi app trying to leave airport so arrived after1:00 am. Our lovely host was right there, waiting to receive us, kind and sympathetic. He drove us to the airport himself in the morning for half of what the taxi costs, to ensure no further stress. HE is who you want as a host. Place very large and liveable for family with kids- but we had no time to do anything but sleep.

Very convenient for a stopover before or after a flight. Easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. The hosts were very responsive and the arrival instructions were clear. The house was very comfortable and well maintained and we really appreciated the Christmas decorations! Highly recommend.
