Very wholesome experience with incredibly friendly staff, whose business revolves around sustainability and community (they also do lots more than accommodation including creative workshops). A charming small Irish town with a well-run travel information center for the Burren. Two pubs, a lovely church and special holy well, a well run cafe, small grocery. A great central location for driving to The Cliffs of Moher, the national park, other small and larger towns - all the best of County Clare is very close by.
