The view of Castiglione and Mt. Etna from the dining area is stunning. The proprietess is a bundle of warm energy and a quintessential Italian mother: most of the morning pastries she made herself, and there was an overabundance of them! They were *so* good. We did a little walk right from the B&B into the Alcantara gorge, which was delightful. The photo of breakfast does not include all the fruit and pastries.

Great name! A modern attractive hotel. The room was small but comfortable. Clean and well cared for. A wonderful view of the sea from my balcony. A short walk to the main street of town. Excellent breakfast (I was amused by one review I saw which said the only thing for breakfast was scrambled eggs, and nothing to go with them. Nothing, except for the fried bacon, 4 or 5 kinds of bread and rolls with a toaster available, croissants, 3 kinds of cheese, prosciutto, salami and mortadella, fruits plus freshly cut mixed fruit, yogurt, juices and the wonderful Sicilian pastries and sweets they often serve at breakfast.) The attendant at the front desk was friendly and knowledgable, with excellent suggestions for dinner.
