Convenient to walk to town. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent! The best gnocchi we had in Italy! 🇮🇹

Optimal spot for a base to explore the mountain trails in Abruzzo. An albergo done in excellent taste, top-notch upkeep, absolute quiet and privacy. If you need room-service and a pool look elsewhere.

Loved Popoli. The town is a true hidden gem of "real small town true Italy feel". The location of Popoli is great. You are close to beautiful mountains, beautiful lakes, and beaches. You can visit many small towns in Abruzzo as well.

We went to the Conad grocery store for snacks and wine.
We went to the Conad grocery store for snacks and wine. Google the directions. Restaurants in Popoli close from 1 or 2pm until 7:30 or 8pm. If you like an early supper, you will have trouble. They do have ready made sandwiches and pizza at the Conad to hold you over. N to a big town but big enough. Restaurants that Paula suggested were very good. Reservations are often needed.

We were concerned we may be staying too long in the small city - by the time we left we were wishing our stay hadn't been so short! This town was home to my great-grandparents and my wife and I planned to spend 3 days there. We enjoyed exploring the city itself including the castle above, as well as the nearby National Parks, especially Gran Sasso. While restaurant options are limited all of the food we tried was both excellent and affordable. We wish we could have stayed longer and will be back!
Room located in the low floor of the house of the family who owns it, which are very kind and friendly. The house is next to the hot springs of Popoli, with lovely views (where you have breakfast) to the castle and town.
The room is quite spacious and the restroom too, clean and nice. Outside you can meet a dog and cats that are super cute and friendly! You can park the car in front of the house.
The breakfast was abundant and very good.
The hosts were amazing, very polite and friendly. The breakfast every morning was exeptional and consistant with time. The view from the room and the terrace is great, you can see the whole village of Popoli and the amazing landscape that surrounds it!
Jaw dropping hotel and views. Absolutely gorgeous place and unbelievable experience. None of the picture can relate how beautiful the place is alive. Most genuine Italian experience you could ever wish for.
Thank you.
It's a very nice hotel. The breakfast is large and delicious. It holds everything you need.
The room is comfortable and clean. Also it's in the center of popoli, with free public parking spots. We enjoyed our stay.
This cute hotel is a rustic 5 star experience with views that are unmatchable. The staff could not have been more friendly! The homemade goodies at breakfast were beyond expectations!
Great location great value centrally located hotel. Very clean and friendly concierge. Nice quiet calm location right on the central piazza. And biggest breakfast in the world!!!
Great hotel and restaurant on the banks of the river just outside town. Room was large and clean. Parking for out motorcycles right in front of the hotel.
