Food preparation typically Japanese food ,served with Rice, Miso soup, scramble Egg, bread, 1 type of Vege salad, Noodles change on daily menu, sausage/fish/beef balls( daily change menu) and drinks. The hotel offer welcome drinks at the vending machine with limit time, as its finish up fast. The hotel has comic library ( Japanese version book) and 2 massage chair and sauna ( for male only).
Tabist Tsukuba Sky Hotel should improve their room quality and also room service. There is no daily room cleaning service. I stayed in Tokyo at only 8,000 yen per day (in Remm Hibiya hotel). Their room service was awesome and room structure was also very beautiful. Even though it was small, but properly arranged. In Tsukuba Sky hotel, they took very high price with low quality room and poor room service. Sorry to say.
- breakfast wasn't advertised, but they did provide a light breakfast of bread, yogurt, coffee, etc.
- the staff was so helpful and very friendly, despite my imperfect Japanese
- the free bike rental is so convenient
- the room had everything I needed, including a fridge, hot water boiler, extra table, and just enough room to roll out a yoga mat for exercise
The hotel was like I expected it. I booked really last minute and everything went well. The staff was really friendly. The hotel is old but the room is clean. The breakfast was enough.
It is a walk from the station but actually doable. To the hotel I took a taxi from Tsukuba station, but in the morning I opted to walk and it took about 20 minutes.
The hotel has an onsite onsen, I had no idea when I booked it so it was a really nice surprise.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is coin laundry available and lots of vending machines. It is very close to the Kenkyu-Kakuen station and many restaurants and bars as well as the large shopping mall.
It is a very good value small business hotel. There is a very large common room area for guests to relax. There was a simple breakfast, but I was surprised that it was more than adequate given the low price of the hotel.
It's right at the Tsukuba center, beside TX station. Very convenient locations with shops and restaurants around. The bus station is also next door so easy for countryside connectivity. The breakfast was decent.
Visited the area for business. Didn’t get to stay much at the hotel but I had a good rest when I did.
Hotel service was excellent and staff were very thoughtful.
I would like to stay there again.
I like the location, especially when come by car. Large supermarket is quite close with almost everything you need. Also, the hotel is very new and with good and helpful staff. Great experience!
This is my second stay at the hotel. Staff were helpful and kind! I enjoy their service to ride a bicycle around the premises of Tsukuba. Would come back a third time if the opportunity arises!
Location next to bus and train station. Room size relatively large for Japan. Bed was very comfortable. Liked that the provided bath salts for the use with the tub. Room was very clean.
The staff was really friendly. That was the only reason I managed to complete my stay. There is nothing else that met my expectation because THIS IS A LOVE HOTEL!
I had missed that it was "Japanese breakfast only" (i.e. with fish and amenities) but each morning I enjoyed the whole set - and I don't even like fish ;-)
