It was amazing! Beautiful place and facilities so clean
Scenic View corner Cafe was way too expensive! Only place we found for breakfast before my son's graduation and for biscuit and gravy that tasted like oil (my son said) and 2 scrambled eggs, 2 sausage patties, 2 toast and 1 can soda was $38..... This food was horrible for this price! The construction work on the highways and traffic, was the first time in 10 years since I've been up there and they were doing the same crap then, and I would not go back unless I absolutely have to!

Location was easy.
Location was easy. Spent 4.5 hours booking hotel and paying more than other hotel was and red roofs was extremely terrible conditions compared to cheaper hotel that was canceled prior, which was exceptionally frustrating! Also, 1 and only amenity requested, breakfast was not offered, wasn't even able to make a cup of coffee!

I wrote my review and sent you pictures of my room and the fluid on the chair. And you intentionally left that out of my review. You are deceiving your clients and basically putting them in danger. I wonder did someone report that same room to you before and you choose not to let people know how unsafe that nasty place is

For a city of this size the entertainment was very disappointing. There are one or two bars in the downtown area but overall its not a nice place to walk around after dark. Not much of interest to do and see apart from the Civil Rights route and related buildings which are by far the highlights of the city. If you are interested in sport, the wonderful Rickwood Field baseball stadium (the oldest standing ballpark in U.S.) is a real gem, just a few miles out of town.

I'm biased because I lived here for college, but there are local attractions live Vulcan the Iron Man are worth visiting over a few days. Five Points South is probably the hub of nightlife. UAB football isn't as big as Alabama or Auburn, but it's the south and well college football.
Excellent breakfast! Best hotel breakfast we've had in 6 states! Molly was fantastic!!! You are lucky to have her representing your hotel! The breakfast cook was wonderful, generous and so kind to us. Your hotel is clean, even though you are undergoing renovations. The beds and linens were luxurious and made us feel so welcome and pampered. Everywhere in this hotel smelled fresh and clean . This property is well- maintained inside and out.
The hotel was in the new nicest area of Birmingham, away from the city centre which is very unwelcoming and to be avoided other than to visit the civil rights institute and little else. There is a very nice shopping mall near the property (a few minutes by car) with good restaurants and shops (and it is safer than Birmingham, which isn't).
Excellent variety of choices for breakfast - Wanda (she prepared everything) was super sweet and very attentive during breakfast. Rooms were nice for a historical hotel. Loved looking at all of the old pictures on the 1st, 2nd and 8th Floors given the significance of Birmingham to many industries in the 1900's.
we actually never saw the inside the area so quite unsafe appearing we didn’t even stop our vehicle to look at the house. the neighborhood was scary. we had a large group staying around Birmingham and all said the area was not safe appearing. we ended up booking a hotel a little south in a different town
The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet and the bathroom facilities were very clean. Parking was convenient, just outside the hotel. The location was co;convenient for our sightseeing in Birmingham. Nearby restaurants offered a wide selection of dining options.
Rooms were comfortable, spacious, plenty of towels in bathroom. Plenty of hot water with a high pressure shower head. Gym has multiple machines - elliptic, treadmill, etc. Location is about 10 minutes from RTJ golf courses, 20 minutes to downtown Birmingham.
Hotel is nice phenomenal price great downtown location with a lot of good restaurants in walking distance. Room was nice. Shower had good hot water. The bar area was great- would be even better when they open for full service restaurant. Friendly staff.
they had a "happy hour" that was great, and breakfast was the best I have had at a hotel. and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was huge and even had a kitchen. I was sorry I only had time to stay one night.
The people working the actual property are amazing! Booking had over booked the hotel and they still managed to find us room! Thank goodness too had to stay in Birmingham to go to Kirkland center at uab!
The host is very accommodating and pleasant. It was clean and easily accessible to downtown Birmingham. If you're looking for a safe, clean place to stay while in Birmingham, I recommend this place.
It was clean enough and the beds are comfortable and clean. Bathrooms are good. It’s not a 5 star hotel but it’s definitely a good place to relax and lay your head when traveling.
The room was spacious and colorful. this was one of the nicest " cheap" hotels off the highway. Beds and shower were good. Waffles and breakfast options. Not bad at all.
