The remodeled rooms are beautiful and the kids enjoyed the heated pool. Amazing views. The kids discovered the common area game/TV room as we are leaving; next time we will spend time there.

This place has a lot of potential to be really nice. The rooms appearance and layout is really nice.
The breakfast, while small and not a lot of options, still got us going in the morning. The Lynn's pastries were amazing and were the best part for us.

Scenic coastal area, nice pine trees, cute downtown, lots of restaurants and services for a small town. The nature preserve is free so do not pass this up. Close to other scenic areas including elephant seal rookery 10 miles north.

Nice property and very nice lodge.
Nice property and very nice lodge. Very clean and beautiful flowers outside. Near by downtown. The room was very nice because of clean and fire. Good beds and very nice shower. In the evening there was live music in the bar. It was nice sitting insite with the music and singing, but also nice staying in the garden sitting quit in nice corners with a fire pit.

We visit there at least once a year around our anniversary or birthday's. It's a beautiful town and we love the people that live there. We always eat at Sow's Ear and also go wine tasting at near by Paseo Robles. This town never disappoints.

Cumbria is old, sort of worn out, However everything is overpriced. Few hotels offer any type of breakfast other then room coffee machine.
Nice for a day tip. Not worth staying over for high prices of rooms and restraints.

Cambria is a cute town.
Cambria is a cute town. We thought it was just a drive thru street. But the town is larger than what you see. We walked the town and shopped. Several wine tasting shops and antique stores. We were in town for the Cambria Christmas Market, what an adventure. I am so glad we went and recommend to anybody who is in the area at Christmas time. Affordable. Shuttle pickup makes this adventure an easy leisurely stroll. We also went to the 2 cemeteries in town. The town cemetery is old and pleasingly decorated by the families.

It was an amazing place!
It was an amazing place! The environment, the peacefulness, the ocean, the helpful people, delicious breakfast and delicious complimentary wine... Everything was absolutely amazing. The location makes you feel like you're in heaven. Hotel is very clean and very comfortable. Me and my dog will definitely be back! Thank you so much for everything.
The location was wonderful. Our deluxe queen room (2 beds) had a "partial view of the ocean" and it was special to see a peek of the sea from our room. We were able to walk across the street directly to the boardwalk and the stairs to the moonstone beach which is a gem of a beach if you are a beachcomber for pebbles! The price of this room was the best of the hotels along the water and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. Will stay again when in the area (and bring food for breakfast!).
Great location, oceanfront room, with front patio & windows overlooking Moonstone Beach. We saw waves breaking from our patio chairs. Nice furnishings, hardwood floor, spa tub, Samsung SmartTV, comfortable bed. Really nice! Next door is a great seafood restaurant, Sea Chest Oyster Bar. We saw wild turkeys, deer & a juvenile Cooper's Hawk on Ardath Drive in Cambria. Did wine tasting in Paso Robles, approx. 35 minute drive from Little Sur Inn.
The room was very nice and clean. The view of the ocean was exceptional. We have a hybrid plug-in car they have chargers available to use at no charge. We liked the outside fire pits. We sat outside and watched the sun go down. It was a great price and my husband enjoyed his birthday present. We will definitely go back and recommend the Sea Otter to everyone who asks about a hotel in Cambria.
Fantastic location. The grounds are beautiful. The large bathtub and fireplace are very nice. It is easily the prettiest looking property on Moonstone Beach. There is a nice pool, great areas for dogs to play, very family friendly and pet friendly. Even the other people staying at the hotel were extremely nice; overall such a beautiful spot. There were more pluses than minuses to our stay.
This was a road trip and surprisingly the Cambria Pined proved to be a positive surprise - a bit off the beaten track, friendly staff, a little eccentric (crusty folk band playing in the bar), comfy beds, generous breakfast, felt more of a family affair vs the standard tourist hotels
Rooms very spacious, bed super comfy, staff were very friendly and gave us an upgrade on the room which was really appreciated! Had a beautiful view and balcony and the best nights sleep! Cambria is super chilled and a lovely little town, would definitely stay and recommend
The Squibb House is a beautiful old house that is quite quaintly nestled in the small city of Cambria, California. We loved the diversity of the rooms and the calm and quiet atmosphere of the area. The Morning breakfast was copious and the Staff was wonderful.
This was a wonderful place to stay. A great home base for exploring the Cambria area. The house was cozy and comfortable and the fireplace was wonderful plus. We would totally stay here again. :)
It was nice, but most importantly, the boardwalk to Moonstone Beach is right across the street. That was a wonderful thing. If I were again in the area, I would most likely choose that hotel again
The breakfast delivery was great. We were able to charge our car at Cambria Pines Lodge. We love strolling the gardens at the lodge and at the Cambria Nursery. Contactless check in was a breeze.
The hotel is right across the street from the beach. The bed was very comfortable and had nice linens. The room had a separate living room from the sleeping area with a fireplace.
Really lovely property with lots of homely finishing touching giving the California surfing vibe. Loved the free bike hire and the bed was super comfy. staff very helpful too!
This hotel was very quaint and right across the street from Moonstone Beach.
The room was cold when we got there, but the fireplace warmed it up quickly!
Everything was absolutely great. The Staff were all wonderful. Will be recommending Cambria Pines Lodge, to my family and friends. A lovely place to stay.
Great location on Moonstone Beach. While not a beachfront room, we still had a side view of the ocean, which was nice. The room and bed were comfortable.
