This would be a great place for a loop through the road to the sun and route 2. The park road is very slow. West to east has the advantage that most of the pullouts are then on your. You can get a permit to drive the road by reserving with a concessionaire. We had a delightful 1 and half hour boat ride on st Mary lake.

Pinnacle only exists in name only.
Pinnacle only exists in name only. It is an area about 18 miles from park entrance. There are no signs saying Pinnacle. There is just nothing there except Stanton Creek Lodge. GPS doesn't recognize it.
The owners were very kind and the rooms were recently updated with great beds and clean spaces. You won’t have cell phone service here (but you likely won’t in most of the surrounding area anyway). I highly recommend staying here if you are on the fence. This hotel was located about a 15-20 min drive from the park entrance and was easy to get to the West side of glacier, the east side is a little further because of the winding roads.
We were going to have a late check in and we called the hotel, they were really accommodating and ensured we were able to access our room after hours and that we were able to checkout easily since we were leaving super early. We had no in-person interaction with anyone and still everything went smoothly. Room was very cozy.
Very good small inn near the Glacier. Facilities are new and it’s the only hotel that provide free, fast wifi connection I lived in the Glacier.
The owner of the hotel is pretty nice.
The inn has its own restaurant which close on 9.30 pm. The dumplings there are the best! It worth a try!
We loved the area and how the lodging was so convenient to all areas of Glacier National Park. We used all the entrances for different hikes.
It's a huge park so driving distances are the norm. We plan another trip to Glacier next Summer and hope to stay at Glacier Haven Inn.
The price was good and the location okay if you don't have any medical emergency or car issues. You have to plan to eat before going to your hotel because there isn't anything around. The restaurant attached to the property is only open at nights and not all nights.
This hotel is locate close to West Glacier (about 20 minute drive). It was easy to find and the staff were friendly. We eat at the restaurant one evening. Simple menu, however the food was good and reasonably priced.
The location to Apgar for Glacier NP was about 30 minutes. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The owners were nice. We stayed in the main hotel building- not one of their cabins.
Hotel was clean and well kept. Hotel was about 20 minutes from the west gate but was half way in between both west and east gates of the park in the middle of nowhere's ville.
Centrally located between East and West Glacier. The bathroom looks newly remodeled- one of the best showers in a motel/hotel I’ve ever used. And, it was soft water!
