The cottage is very cute and well equipped. There is everything you need for a few days stay. The bed is very comfortable, the view over the countryside and mountains is superb. Kleinmond is just 5 min away drive. I felt very safe and it was peaceful. Exactly what I needed. Perfect for a long weekend away or a work away break.

The hosts were so kind! Once we arrived, we got welcome drinks by the pool, which was such a nice gesture. We loved staying here – the whole villa is so beautiful with lots of African art, a wonderful pool area and everything designed with attention to detail. The bed, the bathroom, and the breakfast table were beautifully decorated with fresh flowers. We would have loved to stay longer.

Situated at the end of a cul de sac, the property is located very close to the beach and the coastal footpath. The room was very spacious and the bathroom had both a shower and a tub. There is a communal kitchen area, dining and seating, as well as access to a patio with outside dining. A coffee machine, kettle, fridge, as well as coffee, tea, rusks(biscotti) milk and water was provided. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming.

Kleinmond is a quaint town with a lovely beach.
Kleinmond is a quaint town with a lovely beach. Locals are friendly and eager to help. It has interesting shops and good restaurants, especially near the old harbour. We had an incredible meal at KabelJoe's and hot, fresh fish and chips at Vannie Hoek Fish Market. You can enjoy eating it in an authentic small fishing boat while watching the waves break against the rocks at the old harbour. Don't forget the ice cream next door!

Kleinmond is one of my favourite places outside of Cape Town. Usually, we come here 2 to 3 times a year for camping at the Palmiet Lagoon. The harbour is small, but beautiful with restaurants and little local shops.CarolinGermany - 10Scored 10

When we booked Klein Monde Guesthouse, we thought it was going to be a single apartment. What we received was a whole house, complete with 4 bedrooms and en-suites to three of the rooms. It was really cold that weekend and sadly there were no electric blankets or heaters in the house although there were hot water bottles provided. Nice drive from Gordon's Bay route around the beach. Dont forget to stop by Stony point to have a look @ penguins. Enjoyed horse riding at Hankip on your way to Botriver, very affordable. Hermanus has a new habour, its happening, lits lit. Kleinmond has a lagoon, hire a boat they will assist you paddle. We were there during the storm and when we booked out on the Monday he said we are welcome to come back if the roads were closed which was the case. Tom accompanied is for another night without wanting to accept payment for the night. The view, the apartment, everything was exceptional. We will stay at no other place in future in Kleinmond.
