I did not eat the breakfast there to discuss. The staff was great, easy check in, room was clean, bed was very comfortable, AC worked great and all amenities in the room were also very clean and worked well. Great stay for the price.

FAQs about hotels in Columbia
The average price per night for a 3-star hotel in Columbia this weekend is $141 or, for a 4-star hotel, $196. Looking for something even fancier? 5-star hotels in Columbia for this weekend cost around $68 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).
Columbia is an armpit. If I never go back there again it will be too soon. The hotels were crap, at least half of the city is just schetchy as hell. The restaurant we went to was overbooked and we got ignored and then rushed through our meal.

We had a confirmation from Expedia with a room rate of $64.
We had a confirmation from Expedia with a room rate of $64.XX but upon arrival we were told that there were no single queen rooms left and we could upgrade to a double queen room for $25. Being almost 11:00 PM, we had no choice but to accept this bogus upcharge.

The price of the room was great.
The price of the room was great. Even though it was fairly inexpensive I was expecting it to be clean and big free. The staff was friendly but. The bugs overwhelming. I was glad to leave. Never again.

We are looking to build a home north of the city and did a lot in the 2 days we were there. I loved the downtown area and the riverfront park area. Definitely would have been worth having a few more days - but will be back if our offer on land is accepted anyways :)
Definitely check out the riverfront and old pump house. Got some really cool photos and there were a lot of people out enjoying the beautiful weather. If you're traveling without your dogs (which we were) and want some doggy time, head there as well. A lot of people with their four legged friends walking the greenway and hanging out on the grassy areas near the water.
Very diverse area and clean city! I feel really good about moving to Columbia SC from Nashville TN.

Breakfast could have been better.
Breakfast could have been better. I eat GF free and there was not much choice for me. Cracker Barrel is right down the street and Lizard's Thicket is not too far away. Getting around the area is very easy. I play disc golf and there are a number of courses nearby to play. I have dust mite allergies and although the beds were clean I could smell the yuk from the old carpets the minute I walked through the door. If not for this and the somewhat seedy location I would have given it 5 smiles. But I ask myself is anywhere else going to be any different given all the rule breakers allowed in our country? Probably not!

Kelly,Roshonda,Rasheed was amazing front desk staff.
Kelly,Roshonda,Rasheed was amazing front desk staff. Jessica was very rude as a sales manager she does not represent Hilton standards at all as a manager. I didn't like my stay at all there wasn't 100% guarantee at all in I'm a Hilton honors memeber gold at that.. Jessica wasn't trying to accommodate anything off my stay nor go to any of the rooms that was given to see about the issue she was just RUDE as a manager. I should had got back my whole stay not just one night due to still staying in a dirty room
This is the 2nd time we’ve been to this hotel and it’s still as great as it was the first time! The rooms are clean and well equipped, the staff are exceptional and so friendly and the breakfast….well it was all fresh and hot! Awesome hotel highly recommended.
The only downside which is of course well out of the hotel’s control is the freight trains like to blow their horns in the early hours! There is absolutely nothing the hotel can do about it so certainly won’t mark them down for it.
Love the spacey lobby and bathroom; the entire hotel focus on modernized furniture and gadgets. The lobby has trendy furniture and very comfortable. there’s even a section for the young minds to keep busy; a pool table and mini snack shelves. The bathroom is bright and very roomy. It has personal hygiene fixtures; shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, body wash and lotion. The water pressure is great too. Additionally, the bed is very comfy with light and luxury sheets and covers.
Only like the mattress. The gym and pool were open so that's nice. Housekeepers and other staff overall are friendly. One of the hotel staff barely gave me eye contact and talked with a straight poker face but luckily I did not see him often during daytime (the amenities appear modern and the room rate isn't cheap so please be professional and I hope that particular person can fix his attitude). There are way too many cons that outweigh the pros.
First of all, the staff is so kind!!! And so helpful! Everyone we interacted with was so sweet. It felt like family, which may be strange to say about a hotel staff. Kindness makes such an impact! There was a great selection for breakfast, and seriously it was probably the best hotel coffee I’ve ever had! The hotel room was very clean and the mosaic and decor in the lobby was stunning.
The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very nice and clean. Conveniently located close to restaurants that we could walk to. Parking was convenient. The pool was nice and the rooms were quiet. Complimentary breakfast was good with lots of different options and the breakfast staff were cheerful and friendly.
Clean, beautiful.. so much room! Would definitely recommend. We stayed during UofSC Family Weekend. Enjoyed daily breakfast. Plenty of room for my family and I. 3rd time staying at this hotel. Never disappointed. Stayed in multiple places in Columbia throughout my son's college experience. This definitely is the best
Clean and spacious! I really appreciated the little extras like the packages of toothbrushes and paste, and the tea packets. The surrounding area is pretty quiet, which is nice This place is a great deal compared to a hotel room!
The location was so close to downtown Columbia. Very easy to get to the apartment. It was indeed very cozy with several nice little touches. We truly appreciated that we could bring our dog. We hope to be back!
The staff was very friendly, hot breakfast and a pool to sit by and read. The hotel was quiet even with many guests. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean.
