Very clean, comfortable bed, and a wonderful desk lady. On top of that, it’s only a couple of minutes to the beach and half an hour walk or a few minutes drive to the center of the city. Area felt really safe. It did not feel like your usual motel, it felt higher rank! Overall lovely place, would highly recommend.

The breakfast room was amazing. The entire property exceeded expectations. The staff was friendly, breakfast was excellent. Our room was loaded with character.

Located next to the Funk Zone in Santa Barbara, the Hotel Californian is just steps from the beach and features an outdoor pool. We only stayed one night, and wish it could have been a week. A stunning hotel with great facilities and helpful staff. Hopefully will return soon.
