The owner of the place Lucy is wonderful! She explained us everything about the hostel and neighborhood and helped to solve our personal problems. There is a well-equipped kitchen where you can cook. There's plenty of free food: eggs, cornflakes, tangerines, bread, butter, jam, peanut butter, milk, coffee and tea. You can also store your stuff in the fridge.

I stayed in Bestel Residence in August and I had a great time! The host is exceptionally friendly and kind, she can speak English really well and she can even speak Italian! It was really nice talking with her and she always helped me and recommended great places to visit. The room is really clean and had all the necessary amenities (shampoo, air-conditioning, WiFi, soap, fridge etc) Also, the residence is situated in a great location (near Gangnam) and it's very close to Nambu bus terminal station, so it offers great access to public transportation. I really recommend Bestel Residence to everyone who wants to visit Seoul and is on budget. I had a wonderful time there and I'll definitely book a room again the next time I visit Seoul! The host Richard went above and beyond to make sure my stay was great. I had questions on where to pick up some items i needed for a snow hike and he provided the stores and neighborhood where i could pick up exactly what i needed. He made suggestions for food places and bars according to what i liked. Richard also speaks every language and has traveled extensively, making him the perfect host, keeping in mind all cultural nuances to best serve his guests. After my trip I didnt even look for other places to stay, i went back to the same hostel. The location is already great for food and is right next to the main train stations.

Tommy hostel is the perfect spot to stay at as it very close to the subway and the tourist attractions. Tommy himself is a very nice person and absolutely loved his company. The rooms were spacious and clean and they even provided luggage storage facility. would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a budget stay in Seoul.
