Super friendly reception staff! We were able to leave our bags with reception after we checked out. Lovely breakfast including fresh orange juice, toast, cheese, ham, jams and various cakes and fruit. You can enjoy it on the terrace overlooking the sea. Just a minute or two walk away from one of the small beaches, and you can walk almost continuously along the beach to the main promenade of Sanxenxo.

Hotel Mar de Fisterra is set in Fisterra, at the end of Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route and less than 50 metres from Langosteira beach. We liked everything about this property. We arrived early to a very welcoming Sara at the front desk. She spoke English well enough to not only understand us but made an effort to communicate answers to questions we had. She let us check in early and leave our bags in a side room so we could explore the area. Sara gave us directions to lunch suggestions, sights, groceries, laundry and beach while also cleaning and getting ready for new guests. Upon our return to check in to our room we were excited to open the door and see the unbelievable view of the beach, mountains, ocean, etc. The room was clean, comfortable and full of amenities. We had a wonderful walk on the beach and saw the many sights including the evening walk out to the lighthouse (Sara gave us suggestions, taxi # if we wanted to use it) Breakfast the next morning was included. Perfect selection of everything you would want to start the day with Sara’s friendly personality serving things up. Highly recommend this place because of the staff, location, comfort, cleanliness, amenities, and the VIEW! Breathtaking!!! We have stayed in many, many places on our Camino from Porto to Santiago. Hotel Mar de Fisterra is definitely #1. Thank you! We will tell others and hopefully return ourselves. 👍❤️👣

O Semaforo Hotel is part of the converted Finisterre Lighthouse, 3 km from Fisterra Town. It offers heated rooms with satellite TV. They have a tiny room but it is a third of the price of a standard room, so I know what I was getting. If you are finishing the Camino at Finisterre, consider this as a treat for yourself. Location can't be better, right at the 00.000 km marker with cliffs on either side, the lighthouse in back and The Camino in front. Watching the sunset from the two story bar is perfect and I had my best meal of the journey in their restaurant. Included breakfast was lovely.

Convento de San Benito is a restored convent, set in the pretty Galician fishing port of A Guarda. The spacious rooms all have a french balcony, a minibar and a safe. It was unique hotel, relaxing sitting areas, comfortable accommodations, super beds, excellent showers, free port and cake, and fantastic food. Staff was accommodating and helpful. They even provided options for food allergies.

This resort was one of my favourite places in a very long time. I speak minimal Spanish, and the staff were so accommodating. I liked it so much that I’ve already booked a return visit with my husband in April.
