One of the oldest hotels in Wales, The Hand in Chirk was built in 1610, and offers traditional charm and period features. There is a restaurant, bar, free Wi-Fi and free parking. Amazing staff and a great location. Would definitely look forward to another visit to this hotel.

With a traditional restaurant and ale bar, this family-run hotel has a patio garden and scenic views. The Corbet Arms sits on the banks of the River Severn, just 5 minutes’ drive from Shrewsbury. The food was great. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast.

Rowton Castle is a beautiful 17th-century Grade II listed building, set in 17 acres of tranquil grounds, and 6 miles from the historic market town of Shrewsbury. Attention and can do attitude of all of the staff was among the best I have experienced in 40 years...
