Boasting a privileged location, 984 feet from the gate of Monemvasia’s castle, Malvasia Traditional Hotel offers stone-built units most with views over the sea. Beautiful! Room was comfy, bed was super comfortable, shower was great. The view from our balcony was drop dead gorgeous! And from the room we could see the sunrise. Loved Monemvasia....something profound about walking in the old town on top. Thank you for all the help with the luggage and the super friendly welcome. The breakfast was absolutely delicious as well!

The hotel was well decorated and maintained. The room was spacious, well designed, and clean. The beds very comfy. It had a very nice balcony, panoramic view from three sides; with large patio doors opening to the front balcony. The breakfast menu offered a great selection and everything was nicely cooked and presented. However, I kept the best for last. The hotel restaurant where on Saturday evening we have live music, two excellent players (one guitar and voice and one bouzouki) treated us to a lovely musical night, filled with Rembetiko and Entexno Laiko repertoire. The combination of excellent food and music kept us entertained until after midnight (we were the last ones to go). It is therefore without any hesitation that I recommend this hotel for your stay and try their restaurant at least once; you will be really happy with the service.

The staff were exceptional! We were always greeted with a smile and asked if we needed anything. The beach is close and was not crowded. However, our stay is mid-October. Very clean space. A breakfast was included, including coffee. I highly recommend staying here!

From £196 per nightThe apartment is located in Elaia Lakonias at a very nice spot, close to Monemvasia, Elafonisos and Gytheio which can be reached in about half an hour by car. The whole building is located just in front of sea. We were given the 1st floor apartment, which is quite new and modern and which has a nice terrace from where sea view is excellent. Owners were leaving at the next apartment and were quite polite and ready to assist with anything needed.

What’s not to like. Excellent facilities. Great beach and all that is needed to make it a very relaxing stay. Staff is professional and kind. Quality of all is high and care and maintenance impeccable. Food, bar, wifi, parking, beds, airco, room all is top. We will come back. I rarely give such high notes but here they are deserved.
