And the village is gorgeous! We were able to find parking nearby without issue and were greeted warmly when we got in. The room was a great size, steady WiFi, everything we needed. They gave us a lovely seat in the bar/restaurant and the baked hake we ordered was delicious. There was great craic all night, so fun in fact we didn't even leave the hotel! The power went out the morning we were leaving (no fault of theirs) and the staff were unnecessarily apologetic and beyond accommodating. We'll be back without a doubt.

Situated in Dundalk, the family run Ballymascanlon Hotel and Golf Resort is set within 130 acres of parkland. Beautiful property with lovely historic gardens behind the main building. The rooms were comfortable and had good bathrooms. Internet worked well. The bar cafe had good food and friendly staff. The breakfast room had great food and was nicely arranged. One staff member recommended a local pub that was also great.

The Hotel Imperial is in Dundalk town centre, close to all the major attractions and shops, bars and restaurants. It has free parking, modern bars and coffee shop. The IM hotel is situated in the heart of Dundalk. Our bed was large and comfy. Their restaurant cooked well with wide range of foods and even for us vegans there was a couple of choices to choose from.

Flynns of Termonfeckin Boutique Hotel is located on the banks of the Ballywater River and is a 10-minute walk from the beach and a 5-minute drive from Drogheda. Beautiful rooms and location fabulous breakfast and staff were so nice. There is a lovely bar attached also.

The Glenside is located in beautiful countryside just 2 km from Drogheda and 5km from the beach at Bettystown. There is a bar, a la carte restaurant and free parking. Inside the hotel feels like a beachy golf resort. The carpets and paint are all clearly fresh, the room was impeccably decorated and had an exceptionally comfortable bed. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and professional. Breakfast was a highlight as well. I genuinely only have positive things to say about my stay here.

Escape to The Carrickdale for comfort and indulgence on the Cooley Peninsula. It has a leisure centre, a fitness centre and the therapeutic Serenity Spa. The absolutely gorgeous hidden garden across the street from the hotel- we spent over an hour there - so many pretty flowers and plants to look at! The cafe was good as well with a lovely view of the gazebo and flowers

In picturesque Carlingford, The Four Seasons Hotel overlooks the Cooley Peninsula, with beautiful views of Cooley Mountains and Carlingford Lough. The hotel is a 1-hour drive from Dublin and Belfast. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Originally built in 1867, this charming town house has been tastefully renovated in a modern style, whilst retaining its historic charm, with stained glass windows and high coved ceilings. amazing property steeped in history, artwork and beautiful furniture.
