It is an exceptional hotel. Already by entering the very cosy main hall we felt very well kept. The rooms are very clean and well (almost) luxury equipped. We really liked the sticked out window, were you can sit and look out into the landscape.

We have stayed in this wonderful retreat for 4 nights, everything was perfect, the service, the food, the turf house, the hot pool, and it’s really excellent location for observing the Northern Lights which we have seen in all the 4 nights we have stayed in.

The Greenhouse hotel has 7 restaurants and a bar in its food hall, Icelandic designer stores, Icecream and a local food market. The stay was great! Unfortunately I messed up the booking and booked only one night instead of the whole weekend. The staff was friendly when asking me to come pick up our stuff. Would've been nice to stay the whole weekend, such I nice place.

This eco-friendly hotel, 30 minutes’ drive from Reykjavik, is surrounded by nature in the town of Ölfus. The polish girl in the reception was amazing, she was really nice and helpful. You can see the northern lights from the hotel.

It’s a perfect base for exploring the golden circle and the south coast. There is only 7 km to Hveragerdi and Selfoss, cities with a wide range of shops and restaurants. the hot tub that the hotel provided - great way to finish your active day!

WiFi is free. it was spotlessly clean, Jon the owner was a marvelous host, we sat down and had a drink together and had one of our best nights in Iceland, Jon hospitality is up there with the best. drove past Gyser & stay here.
