This property is near Akranes Harbour and 1.3 km from Akranes Museum Centre. It offers a pretty, hedged garden and a large, furnished terrace. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Hosts has been extremely friendly and helpful. The place is spotless, and the kitchen was very well equipped. We could also use the washing machine and drier. The guesthouse has two rooms, a double and a tween bed and a very cosy living room. We enjoyed every minute and were very sad not staying longer. It was one of the best guesthouses we saw in Iceland.

Set in Akranes in the West Iceland region, Bard Cottage features a terrace and garden views. This property offers access to a patio, and free WiFi. Perfect place to relax after day of exploring. Beautiful, comfortable and cosy house, great attention to details. Nice sorroundings, house is in a small forrest with little lake and mountain views behind. We especially loved hot tube on the deck. Wonderful and caring hosts are always ready to help and provide advice. We highly recomnend Bard cottage to other travellers.
