Situato a Zao Onsen, a 1,3 km dalla località sciistica di Zao Onsen, il Takasagoya Ryokan offre sistemazioni con accesso diretto alle piste sciistiche e un parcheggio privato gratuito. The staff was very kind, as expected from a family owned ryokan. The bath area is small, but you schedule your personal bath time. Food is incredible, a must try when visiting Zao. Location is near the main attractions, like the cable car is reachable by walking. Lots of nearby onsens.

Boasting natural hot spring baths, Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya is located a 15-minute walk from JR Tendo Station, 50 km from Sendai. The onsen experience was incredible! Very accommodating and great privacy. Guest rooms were spacious and warm.

Featuring free property-wide WiFi, a spa centre and a seasonal outdoor pool, Matsushima Ichinobo offers accommodation in Matsushima. Everything is amazing. It is expensive, but you get what you pay. I recommend staying for at least 2 nights. I stayed for only one night, and I think I could have enjoyed more (like the gardens and the free rental bike service) if I had more time. Having said that,I thoroughly enjoyed my bedroom, the lounge, restaurant, the baths. The free all you can eat ice cream in the lounge was also a positive surprise.

Tagoto features a hot public bath, Japanese-style and Western rooms and Japanese cuisine, a 5-minute drive from Aizu Wakamatsu Station. Very warm hospitality, meal was great. Minimal language barrier.

Circondato da monti e da una natura incontaminata, il Tamonkan occupa uno storico edificio in stile giapponese a 8 minuti a piedi dal Santuario Dewa. Tamonkan is an amazing ryonkan. The sweet couple that manages it so so so kind and gentle. The rooms so cozy. We had an amazing experience. It’s perfect to reach Mount hagura. And it’s well connected with the main city. The food that they cooked for us was great too! I suggest to try breakfast and dinner. I really hope to come back again. Arigato! We love you ♥️♥️♥️

Situato a 10 minuti a piedi dall'impianto di risalita della funivia Zao Sky, il Miyamaso Takamiya offre 9 bagni termali naturali. Excellent food, 4 onsen on property. Spacious rooms.

Located a 7-minute walk from Gosho Lake, Shikitei Morioka TsunagiOnsen offers free WiFi and indoor/outdoor hot spring baths. JR Morioka Train Station is a 25-minute drive from the property. It is a very convenient that there’s indoor spring pool. The food was very good, we stayed 2 nights, and they changed the menu. I even think they upgraded. I love traditional spring hotel. The service is person to person feel very warm.

Located in Kitakami, 42 km from Chuson-ji Temple, Yasuragino Yado -Iyashino Yu- provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. I didn't take the breakfast, so I can't comment on it. Location was good for me since I wanted to walk everyday.

Yukemuri. Il No Yado Inazumi Onsen è una struttura a 3 stelle situata a Yuzawa. The surroundings, cleanliness, service, facilities and food.

L'Oyado Morinone offre camere climatizzate con TV a schermo piatto nel quartiere Kaminoyama Onsen di Kaminoyama. Il ryokan offre gratuitamente la connessione WiFi e un parcheggio privato. This was the most elegant and restful stay of my life. Food is incredible - deserves a bib gourmand! Rooms are large and comfortable with a view. Onsen is lovely. The best is the free alcohol and hot drink service in the evenings around the fireplace. Definitely stay here if you can! It’s once in a lifetime type stuff
